Día Europeo de las Lenguas - 26 de septiembre 2021

En el Día Europeo de las Lenguas, en el Rafael Pérez Estrada hemos estado muy ocupados y hemos investigado mucho. Estas son algunas de las tareas que hemos hecho:

A. To celebrate the European Day of Languages, we have completed a quiz to learn some funny facts about the languages of our continent and the first forms of written languages. We have also learnt a tongue twister in Danish, a language so different to ours. And we have done so using Plickers, a way to assess the students' knowledge by scanning  QR cards.

B. For the European Day of Languages our 3º ESO students read several texts about the benefits of speaking several languages, the languages spoken in Europe and how language learning broadens our horizons.

We learnt about the importance of speaking several languages, the advantages of speaking minority languages and multilingualism. We also saw some videos about Europe and answered some questions about what being a member of the EU means. Last but not least, we played some games and did several puzzles, crosswords and other pastimes because, as everybody knows, learning a language is fun too!!!

C. The 3ºESO's students in IES Rafael Pérez Estrada has created this wonderful Tree of the Science of The Languages, It's possible to observe the word SCIENCE in more than 100 languages. Spectacular creation! Congratulations on your scientific-group wonder!
