    La Toussaint approche... le 31, les morts se réveillent et nos pouvoirs magiques aussi. Les élèves de 4ème deviennent magiciens et ils profitent pour faire des voeux.

    Prends ton chaudron et compose une potion à ta guise.

    Tu dois choisir: du sang de dragon, des poils de chien ou de bave de crapeau... 

    N'oublie pas de mettre quelque chose de féminin, quelque chose de masculin et quelque chose au pluriel. 

    Dis-nous ce qu'il n'y a pas dans ta potion. Et, surtout... pourquoi veux-tu cette potion?

 

Hello! My name is Shani Martinez and I am your new English Language Assistant for this year! 

 

I’m really excited to work with the students and the teaching team of IES Rafael Perez Estrada and I hope that you guys are ready to practice your English. 

 

I am from the United States of America, specifically from the state of California. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology and Education, and I want to use this opportunity to learn if I want to become a teacher back in the United States. 

 

I am 23 years old and this is my second year here in Spain working as a Language Assistant. Last year, I was in a small town outside of Almería, but I decided to stay in Andalucía because I fell in love with its cities, the culture, and the weather here! I have been all over Spain, (including San Sebastian, Madrid, Barcelona, and Seville) but I think Málaga has everything a person could ever want. I want to thank everyone for being so kind to me my first few weeks here and I can’t wait to see what the year will bring.

Con motivo del Día Europeo de las Lenguas, hemos aprendido un poco sobre el esperanto y hemos reflexionado sobre cómo hubiese sido la situación si, finalmente,  este hubiese sido el idioma adoptado por la Unión Europea. El alumnado de 1.º de ESO A y de 2.º de ESO B han realizado vídeos explicativos sobre esta lengua artificial.

LAYERS OF THE EARTH

 

The 1st ESO students have worked in this last term on the formation of the earth and the densities of its layers. Here we collect an experiment to see such formation.

 

 

1. At the beginning, all the materials were mixed.

2. After many millions of years, the inner layers of the Earth were formed. The densest materials were at the center and the least dense materials were at the surface.

3. Sand corresponds to the core that is made of two denser metals: iron and nickel

4. Water corresponds to the mantle that is made of a type of rock called peridotite.

5. Olive oil corresponds to the crust that is made of granite, gneiss and basalt.

6. The Earth is made of layers of increasing density.

 Congratulations on a job well done!

Our students have been working this last term in the annual collaborative project "BREAKING NEWS": working in groups, agreeing, preparing scripts in digital environments and showing their faces in the recordings.

They have done a thorough and laborious job, following the steps outlined to develop this 6-week set of activities. Thus, we create habit by organizing and learning tools that will be useful in future challenges.

Congratulations to all for your learning and, especially, to the best project and the awards for effort and improvement.

SEMAINE CULTURELLE 4ºESO

 

 

 

Cette année nous sommes en seconde et c'est notre dernière année au collège Rafael Pérez Estrada.

À cause de la covid, nous n'avons pas pu faire un voyage de fin d'études. Donc, finalement, nous avons fait une semaine de sorties avec nos camarades et nos professeurs et nous avons visité la ville de Malaga.

Les sorties ont été très différentes: on a fait du sport, des visites culturelles et des visites d'intêret scientifique. Nous avons déconnecté des études.

    LUNDI:

 

Nous sommes allés au centre de Málaga et Il faisait très chaud. Nous avons visité la Librerie Luces et nous y avons fait des activités. Plus tard, nous sommes allés au Cimentière anglais de Maĺaga. Nous avons retrouvé Monsieur le Maire Francisco de la Torre sur la rue Larios.

Nous sommes allés avec Carmen, professeure d'histoire, Isabel, professeure d'espagnol et Maite, professeure d'anglais. 

 

 

    MARDI

Le mardi nous sommes partis du collège pour aller à Fuengirola. Comme nous allions faire des activités nautiques: du kajak, du paddle surf..., nous sommes allées à la plage.

Il faisait très beau et ça a été notre meilleure journée. 

Nous sommes allés avec nos professeur d'EPS, Esther, Alberto, Borja et Desirée, professeure de Physie-Chimie. Barbara, notre auxiliaire de conversation américaine, nous a accompagné. C'était très sympa.

 

 

    MERCREDI

    Mercredi dernier, on est allés à Gibraltar en bus. On a vu des singes au "Michael's cave". Puis, on a mangé sur la "Main Street". Toutes les choses étaient chères mais on a acheté des souvenirs pour nos familles. 

    Il faisait chaud et les gens n'étaient pas très sympathiques. On était avec nos professeurs d'anglais, Miguel, Maite et Patricia, et avec Chechu. On était très heureux parce qu'il est génial. 

 

    Ça a été un bon voyage

    JEUDI

Le jeudi nous sommes allés à Bioparc qui est un zoo. Il est à Fuengirola. Il y avait beaucoup d'animaux différents comme, par exemple, des lémuriens, des tigres et des gorilles. Nous avons aussi vu une exhibition d'animaux. 

Ensuite, nous sommes allés manger à côté puisque c'était l'heure de manger. Lucia, professeur de mathématiques, Elías, professeur d'histoire et Javier, professeur de Physie-Chimie nous ont accompagnés. Nous avons aimé beacoup cette excursion parce que nous avons vu beaucoup d'animaux.

    VENDREDI

Le vendredi, nous sommes allés au Muelle 1. D'abord nous avons fait une promenade sur la plage. Ensuite nous avons pris le petit-déjeuner. Plus tard, nous avons visité le Musée Pompidou. 

Nous avons eu du temps libre pour manger et, après, nous avons visité la baie de Malaga en catamaran pendant une heure et demie et nous nous sommes baignés. Nous avions mal à la tête parce que nous avons mangé beaucoup de glace et l'eau était très froide.

Enfin, nous avons pris le bus pour finir la semaine.
